If the box is made very carefully with end-pieces that fit neatly into the slightly rounded box shape then a very effective and neat product case can be created.  The case is therefore made up of three sections…. A U-shaped main piece, two end sections and the final flat front panel into which the switches and display lights can be added.

Although neat results can be achieved by simply wrapping the rectangular plastic around a suitable block, much neater results can be achieved by drawing an accurate net for the shape.  Using a line-bender the net can then be folded into shape.  It is still important that a sharp edge is held on the inside surface whilst the fold is being made - and ideally the piece being folded should be kept absolutely flat by holding a flat wood or metal section in contact during the folding
process.
