Coursework

The coursework will account for 60% of your final exam and during the two years of study you will be producing material that can be incorporated into your final submission to the exam board.  As you might expect of any visual-presentation the more creative you can be in the use of colour, type and images, the more impact your work will have. If you are unsure of anything related to the course ask your teacher as soon as possible.  There are many example of other students' work in all areas of the department so look around and then ask.

Packaging

Exhibition design, 'point-of-sale' material, promotional  items, pop-up-books, display boards and three- dimensional packaging all involve designers in the  task  of creating attractive and effective items.  You  will be asked to consider all of these and the way in  which they are printed and produced for the least cost  whilst still retaining a quality product.

Students have often scored 100% in the coursework section of
their submissions. This follows committed work in class and at home.
