This
website is designed for students of technology ~ at KS3, GCSE or
A-Level or even those simply interested in products and design. 'Technology'
should be seen as a force that changes the world in which we live. Products
that designers have developed for us to use have been created through
an understanding of ourselves, materials and manufacturing processes.
Within this site are 'links' to a great number of other websites ~
Click around and discover them as you search the pages. Some will give
help with revision whilst others give starting points for research.
If you are now asked to research a topic there should be little reason
why you cannot find some information since these pages at least
give a good starting point to help you find what you need. There
are three ways to use the site ~ you could just wander through
it exploring topics you hadn't thought about before; there are the 'Topic
Menu' and the 'home page' ~ either of which could help
in finding your way around (and a constantly updated A-Z index that
suggest some other topics) ...
or you could simply use the 'site-search' facility.
If any Pop-up-Ads give any concerns please make contact and the links
can be removed.
It is assumed that your monitor is set to 800 x 600 resolution or greater
This site has gathered information to help all Technology students and
would be keen to hear of any suggestions for topics on which you would
like advice. These pages will guide you to a vast amount of material
prepared by many others on many different sites. If you find any mistakes
or find any failed 'links' to other sites - or great web addresses
that you want to share, please let us know.
Gallery work will be added as frequently as possible.
